Midsentence
Adverbs adalah adverbs
(kata keterangan) yang mungkin muncul atau digunakan di tengah kalimat. Dan
biasanya midsentence adverbs ini
digunakan ketika:
- Digunakan sebelum verbs (kata kerja) dari simple present tense dan simple past tense, contohnya: “Ann always comes on time”.
- Digunakan setelah “be/ to be” dari simple present tense dan past tense, contohnya: “Ann is always on time”.
- Digunakan setelah kata kerja bantu (auxiliary verbs) dan kata kerja utama (main verb), contohnya: “Ann has always come on time”.
- Dalam kalimat tanya, midsentence adverbs langsung digunakan/ muncul setelah subject, contohnya: “Does she always come on time?”
